Registered Behavior Technicians (RTBs) have an opportunity to make a positive impact through their work every day. It is one of the most rewarding autism jobs. At Lighthouse Autism Center, you’ll work one-on-one with autistic children to help them develop new skills and decrease socially significant problem behavior. You’ll receive in-depth training in behavior analysis, speech therapy, and more. We provide all the expert training needed for various jobs for RBT and other autism career roles.

Take Your Career to New Heights at Lighthouse Autism Center
Take your career to new heights at Lighthouse Autism Center, all while working one-on-one with kids to deliver life-changing ABA therapy. In 13 to 24 months, you could climb from Trainee to RBT Trainer or Clinical Apprentice, receiving raises along the way! Lighthouse will invest in you with tuition reimbursement toward education in a needed field. If you have the drive and desire, Lighthouse will be by your side all the way to BCBA certification. These are some of the RBT jobs we offer at Lighthouse Autism Center:
1. Trainee
As a new hire, you haven’t completed your standard training or certification yet. But with support from Lighthouse, you’re well on your way to becoming a Registered Behavior Technician.
2. RBT Level 1
After your standard training and certification, you’ll begin your career at Lighthouse Autism Center at RBT Level 1. You now have the training and ability to provide life-changing ABA therapy to kids!
3. RBT Level 2
After about 6 months of good performance and attendance, you earn a promotion to RBT Level 2. With it comes a new certificate recognizing your achievement.
4. Lead Therapist
At the Lead Therapist milestone, you enter a leadership role as a mentor and alternate trainer for new RBTs. Of course, your achievement is recognized with a certificate.
5. RBT Trainer
As an RBT Trainer, you are the designated trainer for new RBTs. Your main role will be to support new hires as they begin their journey through Lighthouse! You also get a certificate recognizing your achievement.
6. Clinical Apprentice
With a four-year college degree, you qualify for tuition reimbursement from Lighthouse toward a master’s degree in an approved program, and Lighthouse supports you all the way to BCBA certification, which opens up a whole range of careers working in autism. You also get a certificate recognizing your achievement.
