Introducing Lighthouse Fusion

Fusing ABA and Speech Into One Enhanced Therapy Solution

Children with autism often have a variety of skill deficits that can benefit from both ABA and speech therapy. Unlike other autism centers, which traditionally keep ABA and speech therapies separate, Lighthouse is an ABA autism center that offers a unique ABA therapy model called Lighthouse Fusion. Lighthouse Fusion™  combines the best practices of ABA and speech therapy into one cohesive treatment for children with autism.  Designed and developed by a team of dually certified Board Certified Behavior Analysts and speech-language pathologist’s, some of only a handful in the entire world, Lighthouse Fusion™ offers an enhanced approach to center-based ABA therapy that is delivering incredible progress, faster for children with autism.

An Innovative Approach to ABA Therapy

ABA has long been the gold-standard for autism therapy. Research shows that building motivation and rewarding success is effective in delivering superior outcomes for children. Lighthouse Fusion integrates ABA therapy and speech pathology into a one-of-a-kind therapy program. By bringing together experts in the fields of speech and ABA children are able to benefit from world class clinicians collaborating on goal development and delivering therapy.

  • Integrated therapies: Fusion brings together speech and ABA into one comprehensive program.
  • Collaborative team: Each child has a behavior analyst, speech therapist, and registered behavior technician working together to support their progress. Three clinicians, one goal.
  • Enhanced Progress: an innovative clinical model that delivers better outcomes, faster.

So, what does this mean for you and your child and Lighthouse Autism Center?

A child with autism receiving the ABA therapy at Lighthouse Autism Center will now benefit from a more focused approach on child speech development, infused into their daily therapy sessions. Based on need, speech therapy is potentially infused though-out the entire therapy session, whereas the typical off-site speech therapy sessions may only be a few hours a week or less. Clients at Lighthouse Autism Center are not being billed separately for these speech therapy services infused in the Lighthouse Fusion™ model! Your child’s therapy sessions at Lighthouse are conducted in a more naturalistic play-based setting, where the kiddos are more motivated to learn while having fun verses being assigned to a single workspace where maintaining attention and motivation is challenging. These spaces offer natural settings that are fun and offer socialization and familiarity to everyday living environments. Additionally, the Lighthouse Fusion™ model brings a team of experts to collaborate and provide even more compassionate care and dedication to helping children with autism reach their full potential.
