Autism Training For Parents

In Lighthouse Autism Center’s Parent Training, our goal is to build confidence in your knowledge of ABA principles and procedures so that you, as the caregiver, can take your new skills and begin teaching your child or responding appropriately to the behaviors you’re trying to decrease. This valuable autism education for parents and caregivers will be taught by one of our Board Certified Behavior Analysts (BCBAs). They will learn about ABA and how it can be applied in many different ways. By learning about ABA and how to implement it, you will gain a broader knowledge that allows you to continue growing with your child for many years. The foundation of ABA can be used to help your child learn new skills such as dressing, responding to their name, transitioning away from a preferred activity, and decreasing challenging behaviors. Our goal is to offer autism help for parents so that you, as the caregiver, are more comfortable supporting your child.
