ABA Therapy Center Opening in Asheboro, North Carolina
Lighthouse Autism Center (LAC) is excited to announce the opening of a new autism therapy center in Asheboro, North Carolina, coming this summer. This marks LAC’s seventh location in North Carolina and reflects our continued expansion to better serve families in need of high-quality autism services.
The new Asheboro center will expand access to Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) therapy for children and families throughout Randolph County and the surrounding communities. With a growing demand for autism services, this new location will help ensure more families can receive the support they need.
Comprehensive Autism Services in Asheboro
The Asheboro center is designed to provide a welcoming, play-based environment where children can learn, grow, and thrive. The facility will feature four therapy pods, supporting both one-on-one and small group learning experiences tailored to each child’s unique needs.
Services at the Asheboro center will include:
- Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) therapy
- Lighthouse Fusion (integrated speech support within ABA therapy)
- Autism diagnostic testing
- Pre-academic learning programs
- Parent support resources
Each service is designed to promote meaningful progress, independence, and skill development for children on the autism spectrum.
Bringing Lighthouse Fusion to Asheboro
A key feature of the Asheboro center is Lighthouse Fusion, Lighthouse Autism Center’s innovative approach that integrates speech support directly into a child’s daily ABA programming. By embedding communication practice throughout therapy sessions, children have more opportunities to develop language and social skills while engaging in fun, play-based activities.
This integrated model helps children make faster progress while ensuring therapy remains engaging and meaningful.
Supporting the Asheboro Community
“We are truly excited about the upcoming opening of our Asheboro location,” said Natalie Yates, Clinical Regional Director. “This expansion represents an important step in increasing access to high-quality ABA services for families in the community. Asheboro and the surrounding areas have a growing need for compassionate, evidence-based care, and we’re proud to be part of meeting that need.”
She added, “We look forward to building strong relationships within the community and supporting meaningful progress for the individuals and families we serve. Our goal is to create a welcoming environment where children can thrive and where our team can continue to deliver impactful, individualized care.”
In addition to expanding access to care, the new center will also create job opportunities in the Asheboro area, further supporting the local community.
