The Indianapolis Lighthouse Autism Center provides state-of-the-art Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) therapy through signature Lighthouse Fusion® programs. Diagnostic Services

At Lighthouse, we’re happy to help with this by providing streamlined autism diagnostic evaluations at every Lighthouse location across Indiana and neighboring states.
What to Expect During the Evaluation Process
Our evaluation team is available to help any families needing to consult with an autism professional and start the process.
- We start with a virtual parent interview conducted by a licensed psychologist or other qualified and licensed professional.
- From there, we’ll set up an in-person session with your child and walk you through the evaluation process.
- During the visit, your child meets with a BCBA or another licensed professional for about an hour.
- The session includes standardized assessment tools like the CARS-2 and ADOS-2, used alongside observation and play-based interaction.
- After the appointment, a psychologist reviews the evaluation and meets with the family to discuss the diagnostic findings and recommended steps to move forward.
